CASIE CHITTY, ROMAULD (formerly of Standard Chartered Bank) – Dearly beloved son of the late Walter and Jane Casie Chitty; loving brother of Daisy Candappa and of the late Gertrude Fernandopulle, Justin, Patrick, Anthony, Isidore and Philomena Tissaveerasinghe. Remains will lie at Barney Raymond’s Funeral Parlour from 9.00 a.m. today March 17. A service will be held at 4.00 p.m. followed by the burial at the General Cemetery Kanatte (Roman Catholic Section) on March 17.

INDRANI PATHMALATHA - Beloved wife of A.S. Fernando (former News Editor, Daily Mirror); loving mother of Esala Shanthajeewa, Tharaka Shanthajeewa (Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau), Nalaka Shanthajeewa and Nipani Sasanka (Ceylon Today) - passed away. Funeral will be held tomorrow at 3.00 p.m. at the Kirimetiyana Public Cemetery. Remains lie at Charles Siriwardena Mawatha, Kirimetiyana North, Lunuvila.

Beloved wife of late Mr. Lakshman Weerasekera, loving mother of Himali, Eranga (New World Securities), Saroj (Wijeya Newspapers Ltd), much respected mother-in-law of Anil ( Lanka Walltiles PLC, Nawala), Madhavi, darling grandmother of Manudi (Vishaka Vidyalaya,Col 5), Dinadi (Vishaka Nursery School), Sanuth (St. Peter's College, Bambalapitiya), adored sister of Ramyaseeli, Premaseeli, Ananda and Jayalath, expired. Cremation at Batakettara (Piliyandala) General Cemetery on Monday March 17th at 6 p.m. Cortege leaves residence No. 115/1, Sulanga Watta (Lake Drive), Dampe, Madapatha at 5 p.m.

WETTIMUNY - INDRANI. Wife of late Ramsay, beloved mother of Sunil, Mithra, Ranjan, Sidath and Nimal, passed away peacefully. Cortege leaves residence 18/53 Dabare Mawatha, Colombo 5, on 17th March at 4.30 pm for cremation at 5 pm at the General Cemetery Kanatte. No flowers by request.
