Gayan Maneeshan’s knock of 91 supported by a 55 from Chaminda Bandara saw SLPA CC resuming on their overnight score of 259 for 7 make a mammoth score of 400 against Army SC in the Premier Super Encounter match played at the CCC ground.

Later left arm pacie Isuru Udana wrecked the Army batting with impressive figures of 5 for 31 to bundle out Army for a paltry score of 119. Army SC made to follow on with a deficit of 281 ended day two on 37 for 1 needing a further 244 runs to avoid an innings defeat when play begins on day three today.
