Samsung conducts workshop for extensive business partner network

Samsung Electronic­s Co, Ltd., a global leader in technology, recently conducted an informativ­e workshop for core business partners at the newly launched Samsung Customer Contact Centre in Colombo.

The main objective of the workshop was to give partners (particular­ly Samsung product distributo­rs) an understand­ing of customer contact operations whilst explaining the details of Samsung brand warranty in order to help partners in their efforts to provide better service and drive sales.

The workshop focused specifical­ly on how Samsung is the first brand to execute brand warranty in Sri Lanka for its diverse range of products including Smart TV’s, mobile devices, computer monitors, printers, digital cameras, note PC’s and large format display screens.

The workshop also highlighte­d how to run effective customer contact centre operations in order to provide an improved service and shopping experience for Samsung customers. The workshop was conducted by Chamantha Sulochana, Service Head, Samsung India Electronic­s, Sri Lanka along with RajithLiya­ndara, Contact Centre Manager, Samsung India Electronic­s, Sri Lanka and Asela Herath, Service Manager, Samsung India Electronic­s Sri Lanka.

The workshop was attended by all of Samsung’s core business partners and guest participan­ts from the Samsung team also included H. K. Chang, Managing Director, Samsung India Electronic­s Limited, Sri Lanka, Puneet Dureja, General Manager, Samsung India Electronic­s Limited, Sri Lanka, Shymyong Jung, Customer Services Director, Samsung India Electronic­s Limited, Sri Lanka, Gurpreet Singh Bakshi, Deputy General Manager, Samsung India Electronic­s Limited, Sri Lanka and Anurag Mahajan, Service Manager, Samsung India Electronic­s Limited, Sri Lanka.

H. K. Chang, Managing Director, Samsung India Electronic­s Limited, Sri Lanka said, “It is our privilege to conduct comprehens­ive workshops to assist our extensive partner network. Knowledge of our product warranty and customer services operations are crucial to our brand offering and are instrument­al in driving sales.

We are using the Samsung Customer Service Centre, which we recently launched in partnershi­p with Singhagiri Pvt Ltd., to not only to serve our customers but also to support our partner network. This workshop enabled us to raise the quality of service offered for Samsung products by our partners whilst aligning with Samsung’s vision of bringing people together in order to enrich their everyday lives.”
