KERRY WARNS OF ISRAELI 'APARTHEID'
27.04.2014 -' The Daily Beast' -an American news reporting and opinion website founded and formerly published by Tina Brown, former editor of Vanity Fair and The New Yorker, was launched on 6 October 2008- reported Secretary of State John Kerry telling a room of influential world leaders in a closed-door meeting Friday that “If there was no two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict soon, Israel risked becoming "an apartheid state."
The report adds Senior American officials rarely, if ever, use the term "apartheid" in reference to Israel, and President Obama had previously rejected the idea that the word should apply to Jewish State. Kerry's use of the loaded term is already rankling Jewish leaders in America - and almost certainly to Israeli leaders abroad.

Kerry also repeated his warning that a failure of Middle East peace talks could lead to a resumption of Palestinian violence against Israeli citizens.
He lashed out against Israeli settlement-building. And Kerry said that both Israeli and Palestinian leaders shared the blame for the current impasse in the talks.
