3D design software company Autodesk has appointed Tech One as a Value Added Distributor (VAD) for Sri Lanka and Maldives. Tech One will be distributing Autodesk software solutions through Value Added Resellers (VAR) in Sri Lanka and Maldives to establish a local presence in the region.
For almost a decade, Tech One has been committed to offering client-oriented services focused on facilitating efficient, innovative, and creative solutions in the IT industry. Tech One offers a diverse range of products and services that adapt to today’s trends in business and IT, including software solutions development, enterprise software distributions, document management, business process outsourcing services, learning solutions, and providing IT certifications, among others. Meanwhile, Autodesk, Inc., is a leader in 3D design, engineering and entertainment creation software. Customers across the manufacturing, architecture, building, construction, and media and entertainment industries—including the last 19 Academy Award winners for Best Visual Effects—use Autodesk software to design, visualize, and simulate their ideas before they’re ever built or created. From blockbuster visual effects and buildings that create their own energy to electric cars and the batteries that power them, the work of Autodesk 3D software customers is everywhere you look. Autodesk has 2400+ channel partners, 7390+ employees worldwide and had a fiscal revenue of US$2.3 billion in 2013.
“Autodesk has expressed confidence in our company’s ability to distribute Autodesk Software due to our extensive experience and technical knowhow in marketing leading technology products,” said Wasantha Weerakoone, Tech One Chief Operating Officer. “With our strong presence in both countries and backed with our experience, we believe we can help Autodesk have a broader reach into both markets.”
