Cathay Pacific introduces plush Regional Business Class cabin
Cathay Pacific Airways, the airline that’s committed to providing worldclass products and services for its business and leisure travellers, has introduced a new Regional Business Class cabin.
“The new Regional Business Class, which is continuously operated out of Colombo, now is designed to give passengers the ultimate travel experience, with comfortable personal space to relax, read, watch TV, work, dine or nap. Along with attentive flight attendants coupled with the cabin’s contemporary feel and openness, our travellers can enjoy a relaxed flight,” commented Cathay Pacific Airways, Colombo Sales and Marketing Manager Ruhan Abbas.
A comfortable personal space: The seats are 21 inches wide, with an extended leg rest and an innovative cradle recline for total relaxation. Passengers can experience the six-way headrest and generous legroom space on board the Business Class cabin. A large meal table and a cocktail table provide passengers with more work and dining space.
Storage within easy reach: The new cabin provides additional storage space for bags, amenities and electronic devices. The space allocated for a mobile phone, glasses, laptop, handbag, magazines and documents are all within easy reach.
Great choice of entertainment: While enjoying the efficient in flight service and comfortable seating, the newly designed cabin offers Audio and Video on Demand on a 12.1-inch touch-screen Personal TV with a noise cancelling headset. Cathay Pacific’s award-winning studio CX in-flight entertainment system offers a rotating library of over 100 movies, 500 TV shows and 70 games, some 888 music CDs, and 22 radio channels. There is also a multi-port connector that lets one stream music and movies from an iPod, iPhone or iPad, a USB port to charge mobile devices and a 110V AC power supply to keep a laptop computer working throughout the flight and fully charged.
