Human Capital Solutions builds house for employee

-

March of 2014 witnessed a very special event called ‘Sihina Niwasa’ Kandy, Sri Lanka.

Sihina Niwasa, as the name suggests, is an employee welfare project under which Human Capital Solutions builds a dream house for one of its employees – truly a humane gesture. This year, Human Capital Solutions turned Waruni Walalawela and family’s dream of a dream house into reality.

Kandy District Secretary H.M. Gamini Senevirathna along with Human Capital Solutions CEO Ranjith Rubasinghe, STLPLC Group CEO Lalith De Silva and several other dignitaries from the SLT group were present to commemorate the occasion.

It really was an overwhelming moment for Waruni Walalawela when Rubasinghe handed her the key to her dream home. Human Capital Solutions didn’t just confine its contribution to building the home but also had it embellished with some necessary furniture.

Rubasinghe, in his speech stated, “The objective behind Sihina Niwasa is simply to initiate the mutual relationship and unity between members, while lending a helping hand towards the welfare of members through financial aid and participation.”

Rubasinghe made a special mention of six students from the Faculty of Physical Science from the University of Colombo (UoC). The students were involved in this project under the Service Learning Project carried out by the UoC. The students played an instrumental role in organising the event.

Rubasinghe also took the opportunity to share his vision. In the near future Human Capital Solutions is going to venture into the education industry to build a pool of employable talent across the island.

It truly was very heartening to see the gentle side of a company that’s all set to transform the corporate world with its innovative total HR services.
