Household chores for policemen

UPFA Parliamentarian Kamala Ranatunga yesterday denied allegations that she had entrusted chores like gardening, lawn mowing or any such activity to two police officers deployed for her security, saying that there were more suitable people to carry out such duties.

In a letter to our sister paper 'Lankadeepa' she said she was usually out of the house dedicating her full time for politics and had been out during the past month also for various activities.

She said it was interesting to know for whom the police officers had prepared meals and washed cooking utensils since she was out of the house.
