STF seizes 25,000 kilos of refuse tea

Some 25,000 kilos of refuse tea being transported in a 40foot container to the Colombo Port were seized at

Dalugama in Kelaniya by the Special Task Force (STF).

The raid was carried out by STF personnel from the STF headquarters and they were led by Inspector Nadeeka Silva on the directions of ASP Faizal Hajji and under the purview of STF Commandant DIG R.W.M.C Ranawana

They also arrested three suspects who were said to be residents of Kadawatha, Anuradhapura and Ragama.
