METROPOLITAN WINS NASCO AWARDS
Three talented Metropolitan staff members bagged prestigious NASCO awards at the recently held event which recognized the top performing sales executives, front liners and managers.
Metropolitan’s Heshan Eranda Wanaguru won the Gold award in the Front liner in IT category, for which Dangallage Madushan Chalitha won the Silver award while Prasanna Kulasinghe won t he Bronze award in the Territory Manager in IT category.
“I think it is a great privilege working in a good environment where there is opportunity to learn. In achieving this award, it is an accolade for Metropolitan for its efforts in staff development and a personal achievement for myself as well,” said Dangallage Madushan Chalitha, the Silver winner in the Front liner category.
SLIM NASCO initiative aims to recognize t op-performing sales and marketing professionals at a national level. This initiative contributes to elevating the sales and marketing profession to greater heights by setting higher standards each year, which encourages the profession to perform beyond their perceived capacity and to engineer innovative and dynamic strategies.

“NASCO was one of my greatest achievements,” said Heshan Eranda Wanaguru, who received the Gold award in the Front liner category.
The event also aims to reward and motivate the sales fraternity to performer better. The 2014 NASCO awards was themed ‘enhancing the profile of the sales profession i n various sectors’. Metropolitan teams have come on top at the NASCO awards in the last few years with multiple recognitions and awards.
