SINGAPORE AIRLINES RANKS GEORGE STEUART TRAVELS NO. 1 AGAIN
George Steuart Travels, the 34-year-old travel arm of diversified conglomerate George Steuart and Co., yesterday announced that it has been ranked the Number One Travel Agent for 2013/14 by one of the most prestigious airlines.
The company was recognised with the Gold award for Best Passenger Sales at t he Annual Passenger Sales Award Ceremony, hosted by Singapore Airlines (SIA) at The Kingsbury, recently.
George Steuart Travels CEO Channe Wijemanne accepted the award from Singapore Airlines Regional Vice President Joey Seow. Classic Travels and Gabo Travels bagged t he Silver and Bronze awards, respectively.
After receiving this award, Wijemanne said, “We are extremely proud to have won this award for the second consecutive year, beating off stiff competition from our industry peers.
