Mercantile Volleyball final round tomorrow
The matches of the final round of the third Mercantile Volleyball Championship will be held on October 26 (tomorrow) at 9.00 a.m. onwards at the Youth Center Indoor Stadium, Maharagama.
It is conducted by the Mercantile Volleyball Association and the first round was held under three categories. 92 teams consisting 1000 men and women players from the mercantile sector participated in the Championship. Over Rs. 1.5 million will be awarded as prize money. The most valuable player in the men’s Super League category will receive a motor bike (Bajaj – by David Peiris) “said A.S. Nalaka the secretary of the Mercantile Volleyball Association”. The final match in the championship women’s category will be played tomorrow at 9 .00 a.m. onwards. The Brandix Uknits, Mirigama will play against MAS Casual Line, Mawathagama in the finals. The men’s final match will be played at 11.00 a.m. onwards. The SLT Human Capital Salution will play against Brandix Essentials, Ratmalana at the finals as well. In addition to the the final match in the super League women’s category will be held on tomorrow at 1.00 p.m. onwards, and the MAS Intimates Casual line will play against Brandix Intimate Apparel, Minuwangoda. The final match in Super League men’s category, will be played at 3.00 p.m. onwards and Brandix Intimate Apparel Ltd – Welisara will play against Textured Jersey Lanka PLC.
