Three-storey uplift for Ananda College, Kottawa

The Economic Developmen­t Ministry has allocated close to Rs. 10 million to construct a threestore­y building at the Ananda College premises in Kottawa.

The single-storey building of the school is to be replaced by a three-storey building that will house the main hall of the school along with several classrooms in the upper floors, Principal of the school Ubayasena Palihaduru said.

Earlier, the main school for children in Kottawa did not have a hall and sufficient classrooms as one building in the premises
