SLIM open day reveals secrets of success in sales
Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) recently conducted an open day for the National Diploma in Sales Management (NDSM) prospective students and sales personnel with the aim of educating them about the NDSM programme and t he secrets of success in sales.
The open day was carried out with the participation of a large gathering of enthusiastic sales personnel at SLIM Business School Colombo. Important insights were given to them about sales management and the advantages.
The informational session provided the students an opportunity to gain a wealth of knowledge about sales management and the programme. This paved the way for them to make an informed decision to pursue a highly recognized national diploma from SLIM, the national body for marketing. Students who enrolled for this diploma programme can complete the course at SLIM Business School.
SLIM President Kalana Rathnayaka stated, “SLIM’s objective and indeed my personal vision is to aggressively promote sales management among the working crowd engaged in the sales field and provide a proper environment for the students to be exposed to it.
I am confident that this diploma will enhance the sales skills of these students enabling them to drive growth in sales of their respective organisations.”
SLIM Vice President Ruwan Liyanagamage said, “SLIM has given due importance to the crucial area of sales through NDSM and the fact that it is a diploma offered by the national body of marketing, will add a lot of weight and recognition to the qualification.”
