Airport Christmas Shopping Festival unveils grandest prize
Airport Christmas Shopping Festival announced that a grander prize is on offer in its traditional Christmas raffle draw - the brand new style sensation the Chery J3 sports sedan from Chery Automobile.
Airport authorities confirmed that the Chery J3 Sponsored by local agents for Chery, IDEAL Chery Automobiles (Pvt) Ltd, is the most valuable prize offered so far. The festival launched on December 1st 2014 and runs until January 31st 2015, with the winners announced shortly thereafter.
The Chery J3 is a 1.6L 7-speed luxury sports sedan with a CVT Gearbox. It is highly regarded for offering safety, comfort luxury and style coupled with a host of high tech features. In fact, an astounding array of features are offered as standard on this stylish sports sedan.
8 airbags including side-curtain air bags, leather interior, cruise control, climate control AC, rain sensing wipers, auto levelling headlamps, twin exhaust are just some of them.
Travellers transiting through Bandaranaike International Airport making duty free purchases of US $ 10 or more in the departure/ transit area or duty free complex are eligible to enter the raffle draw.
Additionally, purchases of US $ 50 or more also entitles passengers the chance to play a mini golf game with instant prizes on offer. Previously called the BIA Christmas Shopping Festival, the Airport Christmas Shopping Festival is a collective endeavour organized by the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA), and the Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited (AASL).
