HNB Assurance unveils ‘Liya Harasara’ third edition

The Internatio­nal Women’s Day is celebrated worldwide on March 8. In order to celebrate this special day HNB Assurance has once again initiated ‘Liyaharasa­ra’, a special tribute towards women, by commemorat­ing t his day with a special campaign carried throughout this month.

“Women i n t oday’s world have proven to be a strong and independen­t force, growing in influence. Even though one tends to think of insurance as something men buy, there are many families across the country that depend heavily on the income provided by women in today’s workforce.

HNB Assurance has taken a prime initiative in recognizin­g the importance of insurance for women and to salute women representi­ng all generation­s of womanhood,” stated HNB Assurance Managing Director Manjula de Silva.

Commenting on t he main features of HNB Assurance Liyaharasa, HNB Assurance Chief Operating Officer Prasantha Fernando explained, “Women who obtain a life insurance policy from HNB Assurance during the month of March will be rewarded with a ‘free’ life insurance cover up to one million rupees. When a man obtains a life insurance policy his wife has an opportunit­y to get a ‘free’ life insurance cover up to one million rupees and Ladies who obtain motor insurance policies are entitled for a ‘free’ personal accidental cover up t o five hundred thousand rupees.”

Another special attribute given to all customers is the fact that whilst getting a life insurance all customers will be entitled for a ‘free’ eye check-up examined by eye specialist­s from the reputed optical service provider, Vision Care and a 10 percent discount on products and exclusive 7.5 percent discounts from Singer & Sisil World outlets.

Special promotiona­l initiative­s will be carried out by HNB Assurance to enhance the value of this distinctiv­e campaign targeted to women throughout this month dedicated especially for women.
