Nobody can break the law

MR says he told his brother Basil not to come back to SL as he was sure to be arrested. Although he fled after the election debacle, Basil would have rightly realised that since a warrant on him as been issued, he should come rather than wait in the US and get arrested with US support and brought to SL as a criminal. MR’s advice shows his utter contempt to the law of the land. As the ex-President he should not promote lawlessness. The law applies equally to all. If MR is not guilty, why should he abscond? It is distressing that we have so many supporting him even now.
