Shakoor receives award

Journalist H.A. Shakoor was awarded the Praja Abhimant Janaranjana Deepa Bushana Gourawa Jastha Prabu Puravesi for the services he had rendered to the media and to the society for more than 40 years. The award was presented by Urban Development, Water Supply and Drainage Minister Rauff Hakeem who was the chief guest in the presence of the Kandy Distric Justices of the Peace Sansadaya President Mahilal Peraira and General Secretary Jayawardane.
