Galahitiyawa RECORDCentral third series win

An unbeaten half ton by Pushpakumara Madugalla in 60 balls inclusive of six boundaries and three sixes helped Galahitiyawa Central record an easy six-wicket win over Dudley Senanayake Central Tholangamuwa in their annual Madi Maha Satana limited over encounter played at R. Premadasa Stadium yesterday.

The match which was the fourth in the series saw Galahitiyawa Central chalk up their third win of the encounter to the sole win by Dudley Senanayake MV.

Galahitiyawa Central after restricting their opponents to a score of 176 thanks to Pushpakumara and supported by Kusal Atapattu, who chipped in with 47, raced to the target in the 38th over.

Match winner Pushpakumara was adjudged the man of the match. -MSA
