Ex STC chief grilled by FCID

Former State Trading Corporation (STC) Chairman Pradeep Gunawardane was questioned by the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) yesterday over an alleged financial irregularity at the STC during his tenure.

Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said the irregularity, running into Rs. 2 billion had occurred when importing rice and milk powder.
