Camoplast Solideal GIT employs Dialog’s iMPLS network for global connectivity

-

Leading global high performance motor products designer and manufacturer, Camoplast Solideal GIT, chose Dialog Axiata as its Communication Service Provider for international connectivity between their primary and secondary data centres in Sri Lanka and Singapore.

The Company chose Dialog’s International Multi-Protocol Label Switching (iMPLS) solution, based on their requirement of high service and quality parameters, such as latency and network availability.

Dialog’s iMPLS solution served Camoplast Solideal’s primary objective of accessing sensitive information reliably and efficiently as the data centre in Singapore serves as a hub for employees accessing server information both from Europe and Sri Lanka. Camoplast Solideal opted for t he i MPLS solution rather than an Internet-based connectivity solution as it offers a much higher level of information security, and is in line with its process digitization effort leading to enhanced productivity.

Dialog’s iMPLS product is capable of providing L2/L3 MPLS-based VPN in a redundant, highly secured private network consisting of multiple submarine cables from Sri Lanka to eastern and western locations. The iMPLS Product is further strengthened by Dialog’s own fully redundant MPLS nodes in Singapore, Hong Kong and UK to seamlessly cater to Sri Lankan enterprises’ connectivity requirements around the globe.

Thushara Perera, Senior IT Infrastructure Manager of Camoplast Solideal GIT, said: “Camoplast Solideal is solidly positioned to access imperative information due to robust, secure and cost effective connectivity from a supplier we can trust. I am pleased to say that our relationship with Dialog Enterprise has been fruitful and their service is meeting our expectations for a mission critical purpose.”

Jeremy Huxtable, Group Chief Officer - Dialog Enterprise of Dialog Axiata PLC said: “Dialog has continued to invest significantly on a best-in-class network, both here and overseas to meet the diverse requirements of our valued customers. Our latest investment on the Bay of Bengal (BBG) cable endows a promising future in terms of adding another cornerstone in providing unmatched International solutions. The continuous investment expansions on 3G/4G high speed broadband, fixed telecommunication and domestic fiber optic network around the country, accelerates our seamless connectivity aiming to further enhance customer experience”.
