Investigations revealed the suspect had been employed in Japan and he had been carrying on the racket for a long time with the help of other expatriate workers in Japan.
The suspect and the seized vehicles were to be produced before the Kurunegala Magistrate yesterday afternoon.
A police team under OIC Anti Vice Squad, IP A.A.P. Kulatunga was conducting further investigations to recover the vehicles illegally assembled and sold to individuals in several areas of the country.
