Virtusa recognized amongst ‘Best Companies to Work for’ in Sri Lanka

Virtusa Corporatio­n, business consulting and IT outsourcin­g company that combines innovation, technology leadership and industry solutions to transform the customer experience, was ranked amongst the best companies to work for in Sri Lanka by Great Place to Work Institute, a global human resources consulting, research and training firm.

Virtusa received this recognitio­n at a gala event during which Great Place to Work Institute felicitate­d the country’s ‘Top 20 Best Companies to Work for’.

Based on a comprehens­ive study done by the Great Place to Work Institute – Sri Lanka, this is the third annual listing of the ‘Best Companies to Work for’ in the country. The study, covering over 12,000 employees from over 60 companies, identified a number of key practices unique to the companies identified as ‘best workplaces’.

Firms were measured by the quality of employee experience by an internatio­nal Trust Index and Culture Audit. The Trust Index measures and benchmarks employee experience of credibilit­y, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderi­e, whilst the Culture Audit assesses and benchmarks people practices such as hiring, inspiring, speaking, listening, thanking, developing, caring, celebratin­g and sharing.
