An inquiry regarding this will take place on December 1 at the Sports Ministry. Regarding this complaint the Director General of Sports K.D. S. Ruwanchandra has called for an inquiry.

The Asian Athletics Association has forwarded the names of ten coaches who has passed the Level Three Athletics Coaching Course and insist that the selected candidate should be from this lot.

The selection has been done by the Kids Athletics Committee Chairman S. Jejatheswaran. The coaches say that this candidate should have been selected instead by the Coaching Committee Chairman Lal Chandrakumara. It has been pointed out that the selected candidate is not suited to attend this course.

According to reliable sources Sujith Prasanna, is the coach selected to go to Indonesia but members of the Coaching Committee say that he is not the best choice.

Due to this decision the coaches are disheartened and say not to arrive at such conclusions in future. They request the Sports Ministry to solve this problem and to pick the correct person.
