DMS Software Technologies gears up to meet future market challenges

-

DMS Software Technologies being the first to bring Oracle Solutions 22 years ago to the Sri Lankan market will be hosting an event on the 3rd of December 2015 at Colombo Hilton that is partnered with Oracle Corporation titled “What’s Next – DMS Software Technologies 2.0 “

Explaining the concept behind the event Lal Chandranath, Managing Director of DMS Software Technologies (Pvt) Ltd said “We will be reaching a milestone of 25 years of successful operation next year, hence this event will showcase the many changes we are making in our company both internally and externally to gear ourselves to meet the future challenges and changes expected to take place in the IT landscape over the next few years.

We are scaling up our team with the view of building a young team with energy, drive and daring, who will engineer delivery models that will enable organizations to streamline their processors and minimize costs. We will be expanding our product lines and solutions to help companies meet the future challenges they will face in an increasingly globalized world. In fact this “Re-booting” with a new “Operating System” is what we signified by DMS Software Technologies 2.0. This is the message that we will be giving our audiences at the event.”

Outlining the challenges that companies will face over the next couple of years Chandranath said that navigating a business is extra tricky these days given the speed of economic and technological changes. This means that the right path yesterday may not work today and could be a disaster by tomorrow. Increased competition, maintaining customer loyalty, uncertainty in the market, problem solving and risk management, avoiding data security issues, and serving the expectations of the millennial , will be some of the key challenges of organizations .

Chandranath said that companies will have to expand their systems to embrace functions of the future with a minimum of friction that are well-designed and architected – in short “Well Engineered”. Such measures will help organizations to manage change with grace.

He stated that DMS will be marketing a full spectrum of Oracle Applications that will consist of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), HCM (Human Capital Management and CX (Customer Experience Solutions) – both “On-premise” and increasingly on the “Cloud”. The ERP solutions will offer agile organizational operations and scalability, whilst HCM Solution will empower HR teams to play a more strategic role in the increasing important areas such as performance management and talent management. The CX solutions will deliver consistent, personalized customer experiences through any channel that customers prefers to interact with the organizations.

He concluded by saying ‘We are building expertise across many other latest offerings within the Oracle stack such as Platforms-as-a-service (Paas) and Infrastructure-as-a-service (Iaas) and more generally across the solution verticals that adds value to our customers both locally and regionally.”
