Risith Upumal along with Tharindu Madusanka and Samitha Ranga cracked half tons to put Sri Dharmaloka MV Kelaniya on top against Carey College at the end of the first day’s play in the Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter played at Railway ground in Mount Mary.

Salith Fernando with a knock of 90 for St. Anthony’s College Wattala and a five-wicket haul by right arm pacie Mohamed Najath for Zahira College were the highlights of the opening day’s play in the Under 19 match played at Maradana.
