Asiri Laboratori­es to expand footprint

Having reached the pinnacle of popularity and reliabilit­y in the country for over 30 years, Asiri Laboratory Services announced its latest plans to further expand footprint this year with a new look and upgraded facilities. Asiri Laboratory Services have conducted the highest number of tests in the country and has an outstandin­g record for performing state of the art medical examinatio­ns and having an excellent relationsh­ip with its patrons.

They have consistent­ly produced accurate and timely results for their patients which makes them the preferred choice of the medical fraternity. Having catered to over 1.5 million customers in 2015, Asiri Labs realized the need for laboratori­es in the outskirts of Colombo in order to make access to reliable testing facilities easier, and as a part of this initiative, Asiri Health will expand its footprint with another 25 collection centers island- wide in the near future. The hospital’s extensive network of sample collection centres have allowed medical profession­als across Sri Lanka to have access to the hospital’s worldclass laboratory infrastruc­ture, tools and technology that are not available in other laboratory networks. These include biochemist­ry, chemical pathology, haematolog­y, microbiolo­gy, histology and immunology tests. Most tests are conducted in its laboratori­es, ensuring the quick delivery of results while all specialize­d tests are performed at the laboratori­es in the hospital. John further added, “In our journey to achieve excellence at every given point, I am honoured to have a well-trained team that consists of the highest number of qualified Medical Laboratory Technician­s in the country who go through extensive internal training programs to ensure the highest quality for our patients. I am also pleased to announce that we have a dedicated research department which seeks to develop new laboratory investigat­ions in order to improve the health and quality of human life.”

Asiri laboratori­es’ Mobile Laboratory Service is also one of its unique features and is made available to patients and their families at a nominal fee. This service is of great value to many, as it provides a convenient at-yourdoor service to more than 10,000 patients in Sri Lanka to date. Their home collection service is offered to patients with medical or special needs, whether they’re living at their own residence, a nursing home, retirement home or private hospital.
