Dearly beloved husband of late Kumari (nee Talwatte), beloved father of Aruna and Hiranthi, Priyamali and Jomo, Kavan and Renuka, loving grandfather of Aravinda, Anita, Nivendra, Jithedra, Maneesha and Denuwan, passed away on the 30th of April 2016. Beloved husband of Juliet, loving father of Malik (Businessman), Tyrone (Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation) and Derick (National Savings Bank), fatherin-law of Noeline, Shiromi and Shermila, grandfather of Hashini ( HFC - Bambalapitiya), Julia, Jehan (SJC Colombo 10) and Shamika (OKI) and brother of late Margret Wijeratne and Rita Halahakoon, passed away and is now at rest with Jesus. Cortege leaves residence No. 76, Convent Road, Hendala, Wattala on 2nd May (Monday) at 3.30 p.m. for burial at Nayakakanda Roman Catholic Church Cemetery. WIJEWEERA – HELEN. Beloved wife of B.S. Wijeweera, loving mother of Rajatha (Raji) and mother-in-law of Dilani, sister of late Matilda, Lilian, Beatrice, late Nihal and Siri, sister-in-law of Lakshman, Padmali, Shanthapriya, Premali, late Alexis, Reggie, Srini and Delrene and dear grandmother of Ashi and Anju, expired. Burial at St Thomas’ Church Cemetery, at 4.00 p.m. on Tuesday 03rd May 2016. Casket will leave No. 31, Mirihana Road, Nugegoda at 3.30 p.m. No Flowers by request.
