Dwellings Group launches London City Island property to local investors

-

Dwellings Group, in its drive to assist Sri Lankan investors to diversify their overseas investments to the United Kingdom, has teamed up with Ecoworld and Ballymore in London to launch this exclusive London property showcase in Colombo on July 30 and 31, 2016 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Victorian Room of Kingsbury Hotel from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both days.

London City Island – a joint venture project between Ecoworld and Ballymore, is the new magnetic destination for London. Surrounded by three property hotspots: Canary Wharf, Olympic Village and the Royal Docks, it is connected by excellent transport links to the Underground Jubilee, Docklands Light Railway and the Cross Rail, which is anticipated to be completed in 2018.

One-on-one discussions will be based on the reasons for investing in London, its advantageous ‘no restriction on buying and selling’, low capital outlay, easy payment terms and proven capital growth and rental returns. With real estate values in this the regeneration triangle outperforming the rest of London, London City Island offers you a truly remarkable investment opportunity in the world’s greatest city.

Britain is now able to reassert itself in global markets and renegotiate on its own terms.

It is likely the pound will continue to decline in the short term but this makes the UK more attractive to overseas investors who will no doubt take advantage of this situation in a way similar to that after the last financial crisis.

Demand for London property still remains strong and the city is likely to continue dominating as a global capital.

Dwellings Group Director Navin De Silva said, “The pound is now as low as it has been for over 30 years which makes it the perfect time to invest in the UK buy-to-let property, particularly for overseas investors. Interest rates remain low, boosting the attraction of investing in London City Island at the current time.”
