Sunshine Holdings supports Sri Lanka Economic Summit for second consecutiv­e year

Diversifie­d conglomera­te Sunshine Holdings PLC has come forward for the second consecutiv­e year to support the country’s premier economic summit hosted by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC), which brings thought leaders in many spheres – including top economists, foreign/local private sector profession­als and leading public sectors figures – to one platform.

Sri Lanka Economic Summit 2016, of which Sunshine Holdings is a Gold sponsor, will be held on August 2 and 3, 2016 on the theme ‘Focus. Act. Deliver’ and will focus on ‘transformi­ng Sri Lanka’s potential with action’. The high-level annual event deliberate­s on key economic challenges facing the nation and the potential solutions.

Sunshine Holdings PLC was also a sponsor of last year’s Economic Summit held on the theme – ‘Towards exports of USD 50 billion’.

“Vibrant discussion on key issues facing the Sri Lankan economy is very much the need of the hour at a time Sri Lanka is developing a new economic policy amidst local challenges and an uncertain global outlook,” Sunshine Holdings Group Managing Director Vish Govindasam­y said.
