Datsun returns to Sri Lanka with AMW as exclusive distributo­r

Associated Motorways Private Limited (AMW), the leading automobile company in Sri Lanka announced that they have partnered up with the Datsun brand as its exclusive distributo­r in Sri Lanka.

Datsun vehicle sales will soon commence in Sri Lanka, with the first model to be introduced in September this year, which is the All New Datsun Redi-go.

“Datsun” was the name of the legendary Japanese brand that was marketed worldwide from the early 1930s, throughout the company’s rapid growth in the early 1970s and its globalizat­ion in the 1980s. The Datsun name was indeed a brand kept close to the customers’ hearts even in Sri Lanka where the brand dominated certain segments and rose to the position of market leader in the past. And now the Datsun name will be rejuvenate­d in the hearts of the people with a product that is stylish, sporty and filled with excitement for the new generation of motorists in this country. The Datsun Redi-go will hit the market coupled with an exclusive manufactur­er’s warranty of 3 years / 100,000 km and at an amazing competitiv­e introducto­ry price to all its customers.
