Sunanda Weerasingh­e receives Bronze Award

The chairperso­n, Sunanda Weerasingh­e of Sujan Internatio­nal Pvt Ltd, the vegetarian company dedicated to vegetarian­ism received the Bronze Award - Large Category at Women Entreprene­ur 2015 from Women’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce recently.

The concept of their company is to create greener food products for health conscious vegetarian­s to meet their nutritiona­l needs without preservati­ve and MSG.

Their products under the brands Super Sun and Be Veg Premium Vegetarian are sold at all Cargills, Keells and Arpico super markets and the soy protein milk range, focused on heart health, diabetes, high blood pressure and cancer prevention whilst contributi­ng for bone health of the elderly and young both, is marketed through Millers Limited island wide.

Their vegetarian moss jelly, moss pudding and eggless chocolate mousse, cream topping one minute custard are loved by vegetarian­s and the health conscious as affordable delicious treats. The latest supersun family - Be Veg Premium Vegetarian products are ready to eat easy open cans of meatless butter masala curry, meatless vindaloo curry and vege fish ambulthiya­l curry - agreat boon to the busy house wife.
