Würth Asia Pacific Board meets in Sri Lanka for pivotal industry leadership dialogue

The annual regional board meeting of Würth’s Asia-pacific Strategy Board was held in Sri Lanka from the 28th November to 2nd December, on the invitation of Würth Lanka.

This important event will provide an ideal opportunit­y to showcase Sri Lanka’s potential and developmen­t in the automotive aftermarke­t. Local subsidiary Würth Lanka will leverage on this gathering of its senior regional management team to present its achievemen­ts, while simultaneo­usly providing an opportunit­y to a select group of industry profession­als and corporates to meet Würth’s Asia Pacific Board over a round table discussion on the future of the industry.

The discussion with local dealership network leaders will further help to benchmark the success of Würth Lanka and replicate the effective German model the company is structured upon, in the region’s evolving markets such as Vietnam, Cambodia, Bangladesh etc. Würth Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is the leader in motor vehicle and constructi­on industry aftermarke­t products and solutions.

While in Sri Lanka, the Board Members will visit the new stateof-the-art Würth Lanka facility recently declared opened by Bettina Würth, Chairperso­n of the Würth group. The regional directors on the Asia Pacific Board of Würth hail from developed and larger markets than Sri Lanka and their opinions will provide valuable insights to the local industry.

Würth has worldwide agreements and internatio­nal key account management with most of the auto brands and the extension of these agreements to local OEM dealer network would benefit both Würth and the auto dealers.
