Thisas and Sanaya Most Outstanding TT players
Thisas Ranchigoda (Royal College, Colombo) and Sanaya Buddhadasa (Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo) bagged the Most Outstanding Awards for at the Western Province Ranking Table Tennis Championships, held at the S. Thomas’ Indoor Stadium Mt.lavinia.
The competition was conducted by the Nugegoda Table Tennis Club.
420 Table Tennis players from the Western Province took part in the competition.
In the Under 18 singles Thisas Ranchigoda beat Helitha Hendawitharane of Royal College, Colombo.
Sanaya Buddhadasa beat Jithara Wickremasooriya in the women’s singles. For these performances Thisas and Sanaya went on to win the awards for the Most Outstanding Players in the competition.
Senura de Silva of Ananda College and Jithara Warnakulasuriya of Ladies College went on to win the awards for the Most Promising Players.
