Shabiq Iftahry (85), Hasitha Gunasiri (77) and Kavindu Rajakaruna (56 n.o.), were the heroes for Lyceum International School (LIS), Wattala in their massive 144 run win over LIS Ratnapura in the Under 19 International Schools R.I.T. Alles Challenge Trophy match played at the C.M.S. Ground, Kotte.

Taking first lease of the wicket, LIS Wattala piled up 297 runs for six wickets in their quota of 29 overs.

With a daunting target in front of them, only Senitha Ranatunge (77) put up any resistance before they were dismissed for 153 to concede a 144 run win.

WYCHERLEY WIN OVER AIS

Wycherley defeated Asian International School (AIS) by 60 runs in their Uunder 19 International Schools cricket fixture at Shalika Grounds.

Batting first, Wycherley were propelled to 176 for six wickets by Hiruna Wickramasinghe (52) and Tariq Haniff 45.
