LG Elections (Amendment) Bill to be debated

Leader of the House Lakshman Kiriella informed Parliament yesterday that the Local Government Elections (Amendment) Bill would be taken for debate next month.

He said steps would be taken to conduct the elections after necessary Amendments were made to it.
