Ready to launch nuclear strike against China: US General

27 JULY 2017 The U.S. Pacific Fleet commander said he would be willing to nuke China next week if the President ordered him to do so.

Adm. Scott made the statement during a question and answer session at an Australian National University security conference on Thursday.

The conference came after a major joint training exercise by the Australian and American navies which was closely monitored by Chinese vessels.

Asked by an academic in the audience whether he would make a nuclear attack on China next week if Trump ordered it, Swift replied: ‘The answer would be: Yes.’
