Blood donation by 542 Brigade Troops

More than 136 Army personnel, attached to the 542 Brigade of the 54 Division under the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) serving Manthottam, Mannar, donated their blood to the patients at Mannar Hospital recently, following a request made by the Chief Medical Officer of the Murunkan Provincial Hospital, Mannar.

The blood donation campaign at the Murunkan Hospital premises was organized under the guidance of Brigadier N. P. Akuranthilaka, 542 Brigade Commander who also donated his blood.
