Mercantile Investment­s clinches ‘All Island CSR Silver’ at CA Awards

Being at the forefront of corporate reporting, Mercantile Investment­s and Finance PLC (MI) clinched the ‘All Island Silver’ award in Best Corporate Social Responsibi­lity Reporting at the recently held CA Annual Report Awards Ceremony at BMICH, where Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesi­nghe graced the event as Chief Guest.

MI, having establishe­d itself as a renowned institutio­n in the finance company sector, with over 50 years of resounding success, further expanded its presence in the last decade and has always taken the initiative to make a lasting difference in people’s lives and livelihood­s, going even beyond commercial boundaries. As another initiative, through MI’S budding micro finance operation, the company has enriched communitie­s across the country, empowering women to improve their family’s living standards.
