NDB’S inter-department quiz competition a massive success

In pursuance to creating a ‘One NDB’ culture, the Human Resources Department of National Development Bank PLC (NDB) conducted a quiz competition titled ‘Brain Race 2018’.

This inter-department/ business units quiz competition saw the participation of 25 teams from all departments, units and regional branches of the bank. The event contributed towards broadening the knowledge of the NDB staff whilst creating a fun and engaging atmosphere.

The competition consisted of five rounds that covered diverse topics from the banking industry to sports and entertainment. The teams used an audience response device to submit their answers.

Inaugurating this quiz, NDB CEO and Director Dimantha Seneviratne stated that the bank is committed to creating a learning culture that goes well beyond the traditional learning methods of the organisation using the best available technology in such initiatives.

The team representing the Risk Group emerged as champions of the evening whilst the runners-up awards were clinched by two regional branch network teams.
