Kuwait Airways joins Red FM for Valentine’s promo
Kuwait Airways joined hands with Red 107.8 FM to make Valentine’s Day a truly unforgettable experience for a lucky winner chosen to be the recipient of two tickets to the most romantic city on earth – Paris.
The lucky winner was drawn live on the Red FM morning show on February 15 after an intense month-long competition on Red FM, which saw hundreds of listeners call in for the tickets from Kuwait Airways. The ultimate winner Yashi Thathsarani received her tickets at the Kuwait Airways corporate office from Country Manager Sudesh Rupasinghe and Shaq and Blessy of Red FM. Kuwait Airways Director Ravi De Silva and Senior Sales Executive Umal Jayasinghe.
The airline’s partnership with Red FM, one of Sri Lanka’s most recent and popular additions to Sri Lanka’s airwaves, is to be the first of many such innovative promotions for the station, expanding on the current trend of promotions to bring listeners a more rewarding and substantial listening experience. Since the inception of its operation in Colombo in 1972, Kuwait Airways has established and built up a reputation of being a progressive and ever-expanding airline of the most reliable airlines operating out of Colombo. Rupasinghe said, “This recently concluded promo with Red FM is one of many planned to increase the airline’s footprint in the country and expand on its image as the airline with the world’s youngest fleet.” Over the 45 years, Kuwait Airways has been operating in Colombo.
The airline has seen many developments and improvements, the most recent being the airline’s fleet revamp, which included delivery of 10 new Boeing 777300ER aircraft and the increase of flights to Colombo with the latest Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
Kuwait Airways now boasts of the world’s youngest fleet and is well on its way to achieving its goal of improving its on-board product offering, seat capacity and increasing frequencies across its 38 destination international network.
