Ekroma Fortune to fill gap in highend commercial space segment

-

Sri Lanka is facing a huge deficit in Grade ‘A’ commercial spaces according to Ekroma Realtors Managing Director Onesh Subasinghe, as he opined at the launch of ‘Ekroma Fortune’, the intended patchup for this rising demand with an exceedingly scarce supply at the moment.

Ekroma Fortune is the flagship Grade ‘A’ commercial space project carried out by Ekroma Realtors to introduce the concept of full-floor purchases and selling of ‘lots’, both factors of which compliment convenience and cost efficiency although they aren’t the norm of the industry.

Upon further supposed statistics, Subasinghe emphasised that Ekroma Fortune is “one of the few Grade ‘A’ office buildings of the new millennium,” and that “demand is even more in smaller lots, which range from 1,000 to 2,500 square-feet.”

Ekroma focuses on creating unique experiences, and proved so with the launch of its first project; Elegant 16, a boutique residential apartment complex in Colombo 05, with designs and finishes that exude style, comfort and elegance.

The project is undertaken by Design Team 3 - a trend setting regional design firm in architecture, landscape and interiors with offices in Singapore, Bangkok, Colombo, Melbourne and India.

Design Team 3 is responsible for other majorly recognised projects such as On Three 20, Access 2, Dusit Thani and more. However, this project in particular is headed by Archt. Athula Amarasekara, the head of Design Team 3 and Architect of Ekroma Fortune, and according to Amarasekara, this is a first of it’s kind project with a unique location, grand views and many other amenities.

Amarasekara said that Colombo has real potential, and that Colombo is comparable to a marble quarry, as it is an emerging city. He went on to say that with his design team, most of their projects “increase value by two and a half timesnot percent.”

State Minister of Defense Ruwan Wijewardena was the chief guest at the launch event for Ekroma Fortune, and officially unveiled the 3D walk-through of the project, to the audience.

Likewise, the official website for the project was launched at the event as well (www.fortune.ekroma. lk) by Project Consultant Raj Selvaskandan.

This is an aspirational project for the astute entrepreneur of the SME segment and for established corporates looking for Grade ‘A’ office spaces at a reasonable price without compromising on location, features and amenities.

Ekroma Fortune is expected to be completed by October 2019, where out of the total 15 storeys it spirals up with, only 10 storeys are available on sale/lease basis, and out of these, saleability is restricted to five storeys with either full floor (Only two floors) or lot basis.

Ekroma Realtors was established in 2015, as Managing Director Onesh Subasinghe diversified his portfolio to the real estate industry. The company has its own land bank with ideal locations and lands for upcoming revolutionary projects which will continue to supply the demand of a wide consumer base.

Engaged in commercial property leasing, condominium development and strategic investments, Ekroma is a Boi-approved real estate development company, led by a dynamic team committed to maximise value for their clients’ investments.
