PRESIDENT’S DELEGATION TO JAPAN INCLUDED PERSONS ACCUSED OF CRIMES: JVP

JVP MP who also referred to the no confidence motion against the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said it does not include the biggest charge against the latter. This he said is the failure to put those who have robbed public funds behind bars during the last three years and getting into political deals with those who were charged with corruption during the last regime in order to allow them to escape.
He said no one should panic about the Judicature Amendment Bill as it is essential to have a special court to hear cases of corruption. However he said it should be set up following a proper legal procedure.
