COPE to submit Uni report when Parliament re-convenes
“COPE has completed almost all its investigations and presented a number of reports to the House already and we have only to present the report on the investigations we carried out on universities. I hope to present it to Parliament on May 8 when it is re-convened,” he said.
Meanwhile the MP said there was no reason to prorogue Parliament.
“May be the government wants to get out of the political crisis it is engulfed in,” he said and added that committees such as COPE and the Committee on Public Accounts (COPA) would have to be re-appointed when the House is re-convenes. President prorogued Parliament on April 12 to be re-convened on May 8.
