Ap­pli­ca­tions now open for pre­lim­i­nary round

‘Chang­won K-pop World Fes­ti­val’

For the fourth suc­ces­sive time, the Korean Em­bassy will host the pre­lim­i­nary round for this year’s ‘Chang­won K-pop World Fes­ti­val’ on July 14 at the Bishop’s Col­lege Au­di­to­rium. The Chang­won K-pop World Fes­ti­val, which cel­e­brates its eighth an­niver­sary this year, will be held on Oc­to­ber 5 in Chang­won, Korea.

K-pop en­thu­si­asts may sub­mit their duly com­pleted ap­pli­ca­tion forms on or be­fore May 1. Ap­pli­ca­tions can be ob­tained from the em­bassy web­site (http:// over­seas.mofa.go.kr/lk-en/ in­dex.do/), on face­book (https://www.face­book.com/ Kore­anem­bassyin­sri­lanka), via email (ko­re­an­fes­ti­val2018@ gmail.com) along with a Youtube up­load link to their au­di­tions in ei­ther singing or danc­ing cat­e­gories.

Short­listed par­tic­i­pants will be in­vited for a live on­stage per­for­mance on July 14 at the Bishop’s Col­lege Au­di­to­rium and the win­ners will be awarded the op­por­tu­nity to par­tic­i­pate at the Chang­won K-pop World Fes­ti­val.
