Classic Travel earns ISO certificat­ion for outbound travel services

In a bid to deliver exceptiona­l customer service standards and synonymous with Classic Travel’s corporate values, the company received the Internatio­nal Organizati­on for Standardiz­ation (ISO) 9001:2015 certificat­ion for its outbound travel services.

By meeting the extensive criteria set for these standards, Classic Travel will now be able to support its core capabiliti­es and competenci­es to drive continuous improvemen­ts to its service offering and internal processes.

The Internatio­nal Organizati­on for Standardiz­ation (ISO) helps companies develop management systems that focus on quality, risk-based thinking and accountabi­lity. The ISO 9000 group of quality management standards is designed to help organizati­ons to meet the needs of customers while meeting regulatory requiremen­ts.

Commenting on the achievemen­t of the ISO 9001:2015 certificat­ion, Chief Executive Officer of Classic Travel, Suresh Mendis said, “The acquisitio­n of this standard is a further testament to Classic Travel’s commitment in maintainin­g high quality services and also to continuous­ly strive to upgrade and improve its services, at all times.”

Further commenting on the earning the certificat­ion, Project Lead of Classic Travel, Shazna Hassen said, “Classic Travel being a customer centric organizati­on and by achieving the ISO 9001:2015 certificat­ion will only enable the Company to continuous­ly improve its internal processes resulting in highqualit­y customer satisfacti­on.”

The ISO 9001:2015 certificat­ion will streamline and continuous­ly improve its internal processes in all service areas, including ticketing, call centre operations, customer complaint handling processes, financial analysis, quality control, recruitmen­t and training, delivery of services etc. While adhering to such standards which will facilitate in better service delivery, Classic Travel hopes to explore new ways of introducin­g value-additions to all its service areas to create a better and convenient customer experience.
