National Chamber to conduct medical symposium at Ayurveda Expo
International indigenous healthcare exhibition ‘Ayurveda Expo 2018’ will be held from 13, 14 & 15 July at the BMICH, organized by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka together with the Ministry of Health and Indigenous Medicine and other government institutions.
This is the 7th occasion that the national chamber is conducting this mega 3-day exhibition. Additionally, a medical symposium will be held in parallel to the exhibition with a series of sessions on special topics related to Ayurveda and traditional medicine addressed by professionals, academics and researchers.
The symposium will be held on July 14 and 15 July from 9.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m at the BMICH Cinema Hall. A special certificate would be issued to the participants. Renowned experts, professionals, academics and scientists from Sri Lanka, India and other countries will share their knowledge and experiences with Sri Lankan indigenous healthcare practitioners. This is a great opportunity for Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and traditional medical practitioners and students for their professional development and improvement of competencies.
The audience would gain insights into different facets of this ancient and unique Ayurvedic science of pharmaceutics which extensively uses metals and minerals in combination with herbs.
