Combank launches Affinity Card for Dharmaraja College, Kandy

Commercial Bank of Ceylon has launched a co-branded Mastercard credit card for the members of the Old Boys’ Union of Dharmaraja College, Kandy, which was founded in 1887 by the legendary Sir Henry Steel Olcott.

To be issued in the Mastercard Platinum and Gold tiers, the card will provide its users with many benefits. The bank said it will waive the joining fee and provide free SMS alerts on transactio­ns, free e-statements and free epassbook facility.

The cardholder­s will also enjoy six convenient settlement cycles, special offers and seasonal discounts, as well as the year-round discounts and Combank easy payment plans that all Combank card holders are entitled to.

A percentage from every transactio­n done through this card and 50 percent of the annual fee will also be credited to the Old Boys’ Union of the school.

Additional­ly, the holders of Commercial Bank – Dharmaraja College Affinity Card would be eligible to benefits under the Combank Max loyalty rewards programme, the only loyalty scheme in Sri Lanka that offers loyalty rewards points on both credit and debit cards.
