The session titled ‘Sri Lanka INC Transforming into the Digital Economy’ which is to be held at Cinnamon Grand on September 13, 2018, from 2:00p.m. to 5:00p.m., at the Economic Summit 2018, aims to inspire local companies to think global, highlight success stories and provide trends of what is to come.
The focus of this session will be twofold - the first is on ‘Power houses in the digital era’ and the second is ‘New business models for the digital economy’.
Drawing from the expertise of MAS Holdings Chief Digital Officer Jehan Mutaliph and John Keells Holdings PLC Executive Vice President/group CIO Ramesh Shanmuganathan, success stories of these two power house companies in the digital era will be shared, standing as exemplary and inspiring strategies for local businesses to follow and build on.
Business models suited for contributing and flourishing in a digital economy will be outlined by Ironone Technologies (Pvt.) Ltd Co-founder and Global Operations Chief Executive Officer Lakmini Wijesundera, Kapruka Founder/ceo Dulith Herath and LSEG Sri Lanka Head Dee Liyanwela.
Echelon Magazine Editor-in-chief Shamindra Kulamannage will moderate both panel discussions, with Mitra Innovation Managing Director Dammika Ganegama, joining the second discussion as a panelist.
Knowledge sharing and case studies make the summit the ideal platform to link between the shaping the turnaround in the national economy with what the private sector can contribute in this endeavour in particular to push Sri Lanka as a formidable digital economy.
Registration for the twoday summit is on a first-come, first-served basis, therefore register early to avoid disappointment.
