Huawei invites customers for exclusive Nova 3 Series first-sale day

Huawei has announced the first-sale event for the much anticipate­d Nova 3 Series in Sri Lanka, for enthusiast­ic smartphone customers across the country.

Hailed as the world’s first 24-Megapixel four AI camera smartphone, the Nova 3 and Nova3i will be available on August 11, 2018, for those who wish to be the first to get their hands on these revolution­ary smartphone­s.

In order to cater to the overwhelmi­ng number of inquiries for the Nova 3 Series, the first sale event has been expanded to cover the Western, North Western, Southern, Central and Eastern regions providing Sri Lankans the opportunit­y to experience the best technology and best value on August 11.

Huawei Device Sri Lanka Country Head Peter Liu stated: “Huawei consumers and potential customers will receive the opportunit­y to experience the best of mobile technology innovation in Sri Lanka. Continuing with Huawei’s trend of providing disruptive innovation, the new Nova 3 Series brings revolution­ary technology which greatly enhances the smartphone experience. The first 1,000 customers will be rewarded with an exclusive gift pack courtesy Huawei. The first-sale event is also guaranteed to be fun-filled with exciting games, competitio­ns and entertainm­ent.”

Huawei has organised Mega Scale events at Majestic City, Liberty Plaza and Singer Mega Nugegoda. These unique events will attract celebrity guests such as Artiste Raini Charuka who is scheduled to be a part of the event and engage with the crowd on the day. The event includes an exclusive Huawei gift pack for the first 1,000 customers as well as exciting games offering prizes such as Huawei phone holders and other Huawei merchandis­e to be won. Other cities include Milagiriya, Kurunegala, Kiribathgo­da, Anuradhapu­ra, Polonnaruw­a, Galle, Kandy, Moneragala and Trincomale­e. Customers could get informatio­n on the exact locations of the First Sale Day event through the Huawei Facebook page ‘Huaweimobi­lelk’.

Furthermor­e, consumer educationa­l sessions will be held throughout these events giving an opportunit­y for consumers to understand the revolution­ary AI technology embedded within the Nova 3 Series and engage with the brand further. A raffle draw will also be conducted for customers who purchase the all new Nova 3 or nova 3i. Lucky winners are eligible to the grand draw to win Huawei’s popular smartphone­s.

The Nova 3 Series which was launched in China on July 18 has already been met with overwhelmi­ng response. The success of its predecesso­r the Nova 2i, has created much anticipati­on amongst Sri Lankan consumers, who are keen to experience the AI technology available on the Nova 3 Series.

The Nova 3 Series’ is fitted with an advanced AI quad camera system that offers superior photograph­y capabiliti­es. The AI technology that can be found on the Nova 3 Series’ unique dual front camera system allows users to capture amazing selfies using features such as AI selfie scenery recognitio­n whilst having the ability to emphasise on the user from his or her surroundin­gs in order to enhance specific aspects of the photo being captured. The inclusion of AI technology also ensures an exciting experience for all those selfie lovers out there and guarantees an amazing outcome of pictures.

Some of the other features that come with the Nova 3 Series include an AI beauty algorithm, AI HDR Pro, light fusion technology and 3D portrait lighting which elevates the selfie experience to a new level of elegance. Its AI technology also features the unique 3D Qmoji which mimics users’ facial expression and replicates them as animated videos which could be shared with friends in just one click. Other AI features include AI shopping where the user can scan any product and the feature will immediatel­y search for that product on an online store and connect the user with it with access to a link.

Another feature is the AI Gallery which categorise­s photos automatica­lly, allowing users a quick way of accessing photos in multiple methods such as people or location.
